What we agree before the first job
The offer has to include samples, a short technical sheet, photographs of real details, a process for survey and quotation, agreed commercial terms, and clear liability for complaints. Establish who communicates with the client, who invoices, and how a repeat order is handled. Partner commission or discount goes into the cost of acquisition.
Prepare before the first calls: a small set of real samples; 2-3 of your own installations, or clearly labelled demonstration pieces; the area served; the minimum visit or order value; the survey rules; confirmed supply; a quote template. On a decorative film sample, show a finished edge as well. Do not use other people’s jobs as your own portfolio.
