Solar & Glare Control

Residential Window Film

For the room you stopped using in July, and the window the neighbours can see straight into.

Window film being squeegeed onto an apartment window, the courtyard of the block beyond the glass

Most flats have one window that ruins a room, too hot by afternoon, too bright to work near, or facing a block eight metres away. Film fixes that on the glass you already have, in a morning, with no builders and no new windows.

What it does

A usable room

The south-facing bedroom becomes somewhere you can sleep in summer.

Privacy without curtains

Daytime privacy from the block opposite while the daylight still comes in.

Protected interiors

Less UV reaching the parquet, the sofa and the artwork on the far wall.

Screens you can read

Glare control for the desk that had to go next to the window.

Where it goes
  • Living room and bedroom glazing
  • Enclosed balconies and terraces
  • Bathroom and stairwell privacy glass
  • Roof windows and skylights
  • Front doors and glazed panels
  • Conservatories and garden rooms
Straight answers
  • One-way privacy films work by being brighter on one side. At night, with the light on inside, the effect reverses. We will explain this before you choose.

  • If you rent, check with the owner first, the film is removable, but it is still a change to their glass.

A photo gets you a far more useful answer than any description. It is enough for us to recommend a direction and give you an indicative figure, before anyone comes out to measure.
