The questions worth asking any installer
These are the answers we hold ourselves to. Where a claim depends on the product, the glass or the substrate, we say so instead of rounding it up into a promise.
01When is replacement the better option?
Where the substrate is bulging, the paint is unstable or there is damp, a repair or a refusal may be necessary. Film is not automatically cheaper than a new front or a ready-made board; compare the full price for your case.
02How are edges and joints handled?
The edge detail is part of the job and part of the price. Ask to see a sample with a finished edge and a close-up of an internal and an external corner before you decide.
03What has to be moved?
This is settled at the survey and written into the quote, together with access, the working window and who prepares the area.
04How is it cleaned?
Cleaning products have to be compatible with the chosen product. We give written maintenance instructions for the material actually installed, rather than a general promise of resistance to everything.
05What does the price include?
Material, preparation, removing an old covering, installation, transport, working at height and out-of-hours time are quoted separately, so you can see what you are paying for.
06What is covered by the warranty?
The material warranty and the installation warranty are stated separately, along with who covers a material defect, an installation problem and damage from use. An expected service life is not automatically a warranty period.
07Can it be removed, and what is the risk to the substrate?
Removal is possible, but the risk to the substrate depends on the material, the adhesive and the condition underneath. It is assessed for the specific surface, not promised in general.
08What about privacy at night?
Good visibility outwards at night does not prove that nobody can see in. For Night Vision the manufacturer describes low internal reflectivity; for the separate Solar Privacy product it explicitly states there is no night-time privacy. We check the specific material and the lighting conditions for your case.

That is fine. Most people are not.
