Safety & Security Film
Holds broken glass together instead of letting it land on the floor.
Ordinary glass fails suddenly and all at once. Safety film is a thick, clear layer bonded to the pane so that when the glass breaks, the fragments stay attached to the film. It is a delay and a containment measure, chosen for shopfronts, ground-floor glazing, schools and any glass near people.

Delay
A filmed pane takes longer and makes more noise to get through than a bare one.
Invisible
Clear versions do not change how the glass looks. Can be combined with solar or frosted film.
Older glass
A cheap way to bring pre-existing single glazing closer to what people now expect of it.

Safety film is not bulletproofing and does not make glass unbreakable. Its purpose is fragment retention and delay.
Rated performance depends on the film thickness, the glass, and whether the film is also anchored to the frame. Attachment systems are a separate specification. We will tell you what your situation needs.
- Will it stop a break-in?
- It will slow one down and make it loud. Nobody honest will tell you a film makes glass impassable, what it buys you is time and noise.
- Can it go with solar film?
- Yes, either as two layers or as a single film that does both. Which is right depends on the glass.
